This game is like nothing I've ever played before. A decision based story game with puzzles. Sounds strange but worth buying I highly recommend it. Great graphics, addictive gameplay and a very clever story with a lot of replay value.

To cheat or not to cheat. That's the question

4

Catherine is two things in one. 1- It's one of the best and hardest puzzle games on the market (don't get away! you have an easy mode - this is not Dark Souls!) and it has two player modes that are very funny (for one of them you must finish the story first). 2- It's a good anime. And no, there isn't sex and there aren't any boobs. You will see the story of Vincent and his cold-like-ice girlfriend, Katherine. There are topics like marriage, children, cheating, and I'm not going to say anything more about the story. If you have or have had a girlfriend, you must play this game. It's too deep. And It has 8 different endings!

Catherine is awesome. I followed this game since the first trailer and it doesn't disappoint. The history is fantastic and the characters are incredible. The game system is really original, it has the capacity to entertain you for hours. I love this game and I consider it an absolute must have.

Great game

5

Catherine is an excellent game! The puzzles are really addictive and challenging (but not impossible). The story is great keeping you in constant tension, and the presentation of the game is innovative and original. I`m really enjoying this game. I totally recommend it, especially if you are in your late twenties/thirties, and in a relationship.

Attack the Block

5

If ever there was a game to promote fidelity, monogamy and the great institution that is marriage, it's Catherine. The thought of having to go through anything like this nightmare should be enough to put anyone off having an affair. The premis is simple, cheating guy is cursed and every night he has a nightmare where blocks have to be moved around to create a path upwards to an exit. Sounds simple but great level design makes for some fiendish puzzles that will have you stumped for long periods. Like a Rubik's cube, but really difficult, and you've got to climb up it at the same time as well. Superb voice-acting and great interactive story-driven anime in the levels between the block-moving puzzle-y bits make for an exceptional game all round. A gem of a game.
