Farscape was a great series and I still cannot understand why it was dismissed so early. Having bought and watched Farscape - The Complete Season Four I can see the reason why. I cannot remember if the cast and crew knew if this was it when they were filming, and were trying to end some of the story arcs. It seemed a little slow and quirky in places.
Farscape is one of the greatest sci-fi series of it's genre, with stars such as Ben Browder and Claudia Black, who truly make it one of the best right up there with the X-Files, Invasion, and Battlestar Galactica, the Peacekeeper Wars provided a perfect ending to the Farscape series, captioning a better ending and providing a happy yet sorrowful ending with the death of Ka D'Argo and Chiana's sorrow over losing him, and Aeryn Sun giving birth to her's and Crichton's son, it made it the absolute perfect ending, I thought that they could have gone on to do some more, but they never have since the Peacekeeper Wars. Perhaps in the years to come the creators might decide to do a prequel series with Aeryn and Crichton's son grown up, because that might make for an interesting storyline especially what with all the new special effect that we have now, sincee the show was previously made in 1999.
