Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) doesn’t get on with his aunt and uncle whatsoever, and when he is pushed over the edge, he decides to use magic on his uncle and inflate him into a balloon. Afraid that he will be penalised and kicked out of school for using magic when he shouldn’t, Harry decides to run away. He soon finds that there are bigger worries for him; although he’s not going to be kicked out of school, there’s a mad-man known as Sirius Black (Gary Oldman) that has escaped from prison and is thought to be on the hunt for Harry to avenge his master; Lord Voldemort.

With Hogwarts and its students in danger, the dreaded prison guards known as ‘Dementors’ are brought in to ensure their safety from the prison escapee. Knowing the horrible effect they have on him, Harry knows he would be best to keep away from them! Harry is in store for his past to be exposed, and he’s about to find out a lot more about his parents and what made him ‘The Boy Who Lived’.

Brilliant!

I absolutely adore all of the Harry Potter films but out of all of them this is my favourite. The story behind it is just phenomonal - for me you can't get better. I'd definitely recommend buying this DVD as I have seen it countless times and it never fails to excite me.

Darkness Falls

After the connecting the dots of the puzzles in The Philosopher's Stone and The Chamber of Secrets where Harry & co simply followed the clues conveniently given to them by others comes something altogether different, This is the only story not to feature Lord Voldemort directly but his touch is all over this story as his past actions have shaped the way events will go. This is the turning point of the series, this is when darkness falls on the magical wizarding world of Harry Potter.

Awsome

Im struggling to think of the words to describe how good these films are getting now. The book is the maturist yet and so is the film and this only goes to make the story so much better. A top film in it's own right but as a link in the potter chain it makes it all the more exciting. Brilliantly made and as with the last before the film came out I wondered if they could do the book justice...........and they do !
