Excellent service as usual. This type of programme really appeals to me - there are 4 good main characters who interact with each other and usually, but not always solve the case. Great viewing.

This series is always good value. One of the very few good things on TV nowadays. I now have all 8 series to keep and watch over and over again. Long may they continue.

This series blossoms every season and Series Eight is no exception. The chemistry between the cast is now such that often inflectives, gestures and pauses are seemlessly picked up by fellow performers. The reason this series works so well is because you can believe that the characters work together. Savour the last season with James Bolam.
