This series is centred on the Gallagher family, with the father, Frank - a jobless, self-pitying bully and an alcoholic model of a father- as the anti hero. It is set in an area of Manchester and deals with everyday life problems and drama of this large and troubled -but brave- family. This great and humorous series deals with serious subjects such as alcoholism, drugs, sexuality, homosexuality, crimes etc. amongst the middle and the working classes. There is no judgement, nothing is never right or wrong. Nevertheless, it is just brilliant, sometimes extremely rude but hilarious... cult viewing.

Really great purchase, includes 7 series's and a few feature length special episodes and lots of interviews of the cast. Hilarious content, such a bargain.
