Very pleased with this transaction, delivery,packaging, price and product all excellent and it is a brilliant dvd.

A solid (if unremarkable) script presented in a straightforward, restrained manner but enlivened by naturalistic, honest acting, Crazy Heart is more than the sum of its parts.

Jeff Bridges is fantastic in this film, much in the same way Mickey Rouke was in 'The Wrestler' and there's a similar feel to both films. It has a fantastic soundtrack. I would count it almost as a musical as there's a fair bit of singing ,even Colin Farrell sings (surprising well). Theres nothing new here, everyone's seen the tale of a broken down has-been trying to come good before, but it's done beautifully and is well worth a look.

What a treat to see and feel an independent American movie that sifts gently across the Western landscape with a heartfelt touch - albeit dusted over with a hazy drift of nostalgia.

I must state at the beginning that I am not in any way a fan of country music - and was more than a little dubious about this film. I needn't have worried - its not about the music - but the man. You want to pick him up and shake him. All in all a great journey. Must see.
