The Apollo 13 movie is a great telling of a true story which most people will be familar with so I won't bother saying any more about the film itself. The BluRay treatment has done wonders for the movie however. The picture quality is great, or at least is so clear that you can see every detail captured in the original recording. The sound makes this version of the film stand out even more though. During the rocket lauch sequence I'm sure I saw picture frames wobbling around the living room; full, rich, immersive and sure to make you have to apologise to the neighbours for knocking pictures off the wall.
