I loved Farscape when I was younger! The box set is really nice and comes with everything you could want. The menus on the discs aren't the most useful but they do the job well enough. If you're a fan of weird sci-fi programs, especially older ones, then you'll love this!

Having watched Babylon 5 and Deep Space 9 box sets I was on the lookout for another Sci-fi box set and then I spotted Farscape: The Definitive Collection. I thought about Star Trek but I've seen many episodes on TV and ST box sets still seem excessively expensive. My initial reactions to Farscape were luke warm, but the series quickly got better and has many similarities to Firefly, but with a more diverse cast of characters opening the door to more complex story lines. I am pleased with my purchase, and to sum it up I'd recommend this box set.

My son got me into Farscape some years ago but I only managed to watch it on TV occasionally. My daughter had been after the complete works for a while now. Well she bought Farscape: The Definitive Collection and she is watching it in her room now. I just asked for comments and she said it is awesome!

When I started watching this I was thinking, 'it's like Star wars which I don't like, I need to get rid of it'. But after a few episodes I started to like it. Lots of colour, Good characters, zany, a mix of sci fi, fantasy. also funny at times. really starting to enjoy it, still on the first season but seems to be getting better as I go along, could turn out to be worth 5 stars in the long run. Seems to stand on it's own, being unique. Good to try a few episodes before jumping in the deep end.

Farscape: The Definitive Collection is a truly excellent and complete box set! You can watch all of Farscape from the beginning, catch any missed episodes and it's ridiculously cheap from Sendit!

I used to watch the Farscape series every week when it was on TV so when I saw this collection I just had to give it another look. I wasn't dissapointed. I'm only up to season 2 but I'm really enjoying it so far. It's great to get re-acquainted with Crichton and the rest of gang on Moya. The Farscape: The Definitive Collection also contains the final season 'Peacekeeper Wars' which I don't think I ever got to see so I look forward to seeing what finally happens at the end. If you were ever a fan of Farscape then I thoroughly recommend this collection.

Fantastic box-set and worth every penny. I watched the first 2 seasons on TV many years ago and just had to buy it. I have been hooked from start to finish, watching the ups and downs of the crew on Moya. I only wish they could come back and make more. I would definitely recommend this to any sci-fi fan. But you should only buy with peacekeeper wars (included in definitive box-set) as this truly finishes the series in true Farscape fashion.

Farscape follows the exploits of astronaut turned intergalactic adventurer John Crichton. After inadvertently tumbling through a wormhole during a test flight, Chrichton finds himself thrown together with a vagabond crew of escaped alien prisoners. The crews ongoing mission is to evade their would be peacekeeper captors for long enough in order to return to their home planets. This is a true science-fiction series which takes the idea to its limits. It uses an effective blend of story telling and tantalising visual effects to create a unique viewing experience. Although the series can at times be inexplicably eccentric it is redeemed by its innovative portrayal of alien life. With believable characters and an engrossing plot line, this is one action-packed extraterrestrial extravaganza that lovers of sci-fi should not miss out on. A series that will be most enjoyed by enthusiasts and not casual observers of the genre.
