From the very start The Warrior's Way is a stylised epic of extraordinary beauty. It's like a comic book brought to life, it seamlessly blends the weird and wonderful of both east and west with stunning visuals and a sense of humour. While it riffs on the conventions of both the martial arts and western genres it does so lovingly. Shockingly overlooked, this is a real feast of a movie; funny, aesthetically pleasing, dramatic and slick.
