This a very good box set for a great show from the 60s. Excellent colour and sound. There's plenty of extras including and un-aired pilot, although, apart from the music, I it found similar to the broadcast pilot. There's an interesting sales presentation reel, selling all Irwin Allen's TV shows. It's a good booklet.

Fascinating sci fi series for kids and adults alike. My 2 youngest grandchildren aged 7 and 8, are absolutely enthralled by it. First class family entertainment that I would recommend most highly

I was a child in the 1960's when Irwin Allen produced his sci-fi shows. The plots are very action driven with very little character development and interpersonal interaction. The special effects do show their age and sometimes are not very convincing, but if you are prepared to suspend disbelief (and with Irwin Allen shows this is essential) then you are in for an entertaining hour with each episode. I must admit that I'm biased because for me it's largely nostalgic but my young children seem to enjoy these shows as much as I do. This set is good value for money and will provide many hours of enjoyment for all of the family.
