Call the Midwife is very good.

Call the Midwife is a fantastic series. Having read the book a couple of years ago I was pleased to see it being made into a series. I was a little worried that they could wrongly cast the parts and that some of the magic of an era I myself was born in and grew up in could be lost. This was not the case as Jennifer Worths words were well transfered from paper to screen and the characters well chosen for their parts. I now look forward to the other three books in this series being given the same treatment and transfered over to screen. Recommend to watch.
