This Doctor Who: The Claws of Axos - Special Edition is a great package. It's worth it for the Ian Levene (Sargent Benton) documentary alone. All the extras offer a great insight into the story and there are plenty of them. There's some wonderful photographs too. As for the story itself, Claws of Axos is a classic, it's brimming from golden ear to golden ear with vivid colours, imagination and style, all lovingly restored. Jon Pertwee is on top form as the dashing Doctor and Unit and Jo Grant offer great support. The Axons are design classics, in both forms, and the episodes have a good strong pace. And of course Roger Delgado as The Master delivers a pitch perfect performance.

for the early 70'S it is definately a good one. liked it very much. grew up on pertwee being the doctor and enjoyed this one very much. plan on getting more. Perry Pittman
