A Killer Thriller !

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

A perfect getaway is the perfect film to sit and watch with a few friends, a few drinks and a few nibbles, We really enjoyed it. The film is set on a stunning Island, the cast and acting are excellent, the plot starts off at a slow rate but still manages to keep your attention as you are being introduced to the 3 couples. It doesnt take long before the pace picks up and by the end of the film the story is running faster than a freight train ! The story line it's self is reasonably fresh and has a nice twist in the middle, we all saw it coming but it still didnt spoil the film for us. The blu-ray is great, the Island looks spectacular, the audio is top notch and you get the directors cut version which is i have read a better more edited version of the basic dvd version. All in all a really good movie to watch.
