Zavvi Exclusive Steelbook
Back to the Future:
The future for 17-year-old Marty McFly is not shaping up well. His family is dysfunctional, his schoolteacher, Mr Strickland, is out to get him, his music is just too loud and the rest of the world doesn't care. Only with his girlfriend, Jennifer Parker and local eccentric scientist, Dr Emmet Brown does he find the encouragement and excitement he needs. Never in time for his classes or his dinner, one day Marty wasn't in his time at all but having the time of his life. But what time is it? Marty got home early last night - 30 years early. One of the not-so-crazy scientist's experiment went slightly wrong and Marty was caught up in it to find himself at the wheel of a DeLorean car - converted into a time machine. It roars back to 1955 where he meets his parents when they were his age and sets out to make a man out of his dim-wit father.

i'm a little kid just love these films. Classics and steelbook too what more could I want?
"Back to the Future" is one of the undying popculture classics. This release pack all three films pluss the new bonus disc in a very nice looking steelbook with a little bit silly artwork but very nice none the less. The picture quality will likely never be much better than this. Back to the Future was always grainy and dirty looking, as it has a lot of old school optical special effects and were shot on a very limited budget. The sequals look a bit better as the budget shot in the air after the success of the first film. This set contains all three films in the best sound and picture quality ever on home-video, and it also includes pretty much all extras awailable on the films, all contained in a special edition steelbook. What more can one ask for?
Not sure how many of these were made, but I'm sure 1000 sold out on first day. Poor quality steelbook, Hmv exclusives so much better.
Amazing steelbook for a great film, this is a beautiful steelbook, heavy duty with an amazing artwork in front of steel, the only thing bothering me about it is that Marty McFly doesn't have the Camcorder like in the movie... The artist messed up, details is what separates Great steelbooks from amazing steelbook. Other than that everything else is great...Good job Zavvi.
Very poor, no number to steelbook, are we being duped, don't believe the fake reviews
Awesome art, limited to 1000 copies
Awesome art, just wish there was a numbered labelled somewhere since its limited to 100 copies
The films are always good, nice and crisp on the blu ray format. I chose the 30th anniversary edition as it comes with some new extras. Some of the new additions are terrible cashing but there is gold to be found too so still worth it in my opinion. Live the exclusive steelbook packaging, looks great on the shelf and feels great to open. Would recommend for die hard fans, those not quite so passionate would probably be happy with a cheaper edition
An excellent Blu ray exclusive steelbook of The Back To The Future Trilogy, one of the best Time Travel film franchises. A highly recommended purchase of this very limited release.
Films are as good as ever, but with an additional disc and steelbook it make's a purchase a no-brainer.
Its been 30 years since the first Back To The Future came out and it still is an amazing movie to this day. All 4 steelbooks are amazing and are my favourite steelbooks to date. If you can get a hold of this trilogy steelbook you are in for a treat. All 3 movies are amazing and are a must watch for everybody of all ages and the great thing is all 3 movies fit together in one storyline so you can easily watch all 3 in one sitting.
Obviously BTTF is an amazing film and an instant classic, and the sequels are great too, but this Limited Edition Steelbook collection brings all of those together and some brand new bonus features in a really nice, neat collectors steelbook. I was really happy to be able to get one of these after they all sold so quickly, and the fact that its for films as great as these makes it even better. As well as that, the bonus disc (available on the regular 30th Anniversary Collection as well) has a whole bunch of new exclusive features including a brilliant short film "Doc Brown Saves the World" which you cannot miss!
For me back to the future is a classic and as a huge fan of 80's movies it's something I've spent far too much time and money on. Cinema, TV, VHS, DVD, blu-ray, special edition, trilogy pack, steelbook etc! Now I find myself once again purchasing the same three movies, again in a steelbook. But when it's the 30th anniversary and it's the actual year he travelled to the future there's really no better excuse but to require. Thanks to rights control this movies will never be rebooted or remade. Why would you medal with perfection. My only negatives are the brief new interviews with stars and that I much preferred the blak DVD trilogy steelbook for design. A wholesome package well worth the revisit.
Fantastic Trillogy finally gets a great looking steelbook. Love the artwork and the extras are great. My only complaint is if these were limited to 1000 I would have liked to see them numbered.
