Roger Corman may not dish out Blockbusters like Hollywood heavyweights Steven Spielberg, George Lucas and James Cameron, but has acted as a mentor to them and inspired many others like them for the past five decades.

Roger Corman is renowned for being a true Hollywood rebel, never relying on large budgets or timescales, often spending as little as three days shooting his movies. Throughout his career Roger has worked on up to 8 movies a year, collaborating with such stars as Robert De Niro, Jack Nicholson and Sylvester Stallone, directing and producing cult classics such as The Little Shop of Horrors and Death Race 2000.

This awe-inspiring documentary examines the life and career of Corman and how he went on to be one of the most influential names in Hollywood. Featuring interviews with stars such as Ron Howard, Jack Nicholson, Robert De Niro and Pam Grier. -M.F.

Corman's World: Exploits of a Hollywood Rebel is the right movie if you're interested in the life and work of Roger Corman. Both entertaining and interesting.
