Eden of the East

I have to start this on a small negative note. They changed the intro theme song! And that song worked so well too. Oh well, that's American copyright laws for you. They still had it on the first episode, so I guess that is something. Eden of the East is a Japanese animation (Anime) with one of the best plotlines out there. Well within the league of Ghost in the Shell - Stand Alone Complex, Black Lagoon and many others. With the two concluding movies it is a must in any anime collectors library. From the rather embarrassing first meeting between Akira and Saki to his self inflicted amnesia and rather unusual phone... I don't really know where to begin. Suffice to say that Saki gets rather attached to her rescuer after he saves her from a rather awkward scene in front of the White House. During miscellaneous circumstances they end up travelling back to Japan together where much more intrigues, merriment, laughter and danger mix to make this a must buy for any anime fan out there.

Great josei in hi-def

This Eden of The East release contains all 11 episodes of the TV series featured on two blu-ray discs. There is not lots of extra material but there is enough for a quality release. The series is a romantic sci-fi josei anime that can be viewed by anyone. The plot is deep and somewhat twisted as one of the main characters have lost his memory and is slowly discovering what his life before was about. Conspiracies, mysteries and a dog with attached wings all mixed together in a visually stunning anime.
