Season 1
From J.J. Abrams (Lost), Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman - the team that brought you Star Trek, Mission Impossible: III and Alias - and executive producers Jeff Pinkner and Bryan Burk comes a new drama that will thrill, terrify and explore the blurring line between science fiction and reality.
When an international flight lands at Boston's Logan Airport and the passengers and crew have all died grisly deaths, FBI Special Agent Olivia Dunham is called in to investigate. When the search nearly kills her partner, Special Agent John Scott, a desperate Olivia searches frantically for someone to help, leading her to Dr. Walter Bishop, our generation's Einstein. There's only one catch: He's been institutionalized for the last 20 years, and the only way to question him requires pulling his estranged son, Peter (Joshua Jackson), in to help. Under Special Agent Phillip Broyles, our trio will discover that what happened on that fatal flight is only a small piece of a larger, more shocking truth.
Season 2
Fringe returns for a second thrilling season and will continue to explore the unexplained phenomena and terrifying occurrences linked throughout the world -- known simply as "The Pattern" - in pursuit of a larger, more shocking truth. Set in Boston, the FBI's Fringe Division formed when Special Agent Olivia Dunham (Anna Torv) enlisted the help of institutionalized "fringe" scientist Walter Bishop (John Noble) and his son, Peter (Joshua Jackson), to save her partner and lover from a mind-bending death.
Through unconventional and unorthodox methods, the Fringe team imagines and tests the impossibilities while investigating unbelievable events, macabre crimes and mystifying cases involving teleportation, reanimation, genetic mutation, precognition, artificial intelligence and other fantastical theories. When the unimaginable happens, it's their job to stop it.
Season 3
Immersive. Compelling. Hypnotic. Brilliantly imaginative. Endlessly thrilling. Pick your term. The mystery of the universes deepens in the critically acclaimed 22-episode third season of television's most exciting sci-fi. The Fringe team escapes from the parallel universe - except for Olivia, trapped in the other world and replaced in ours by her double, which turns Peter and Olivia's tentative relationship into a love affair. Then Olivia returns, bonds of trust fray, ever more bizarre and terrifying phenomena occur and secrets that stretch back to 1985 threaten to destroy our universe. Or theirs. "Fringe continues its hot streak known as Season 3. It's been firing on all cylinders all season" (Andrew Hanson, LATimes.com).

Fringe Seasons 1-3
A bit like 'The X files' BUT with the feeling it's going somewhere. Slow to start but I have now been sucked in as the characters have depth and I've heard there is a final fourth season so at least an end is nigh. I would recommend to Sci-fi/ Fantasy fans.

Amazing, a must for any fan!
I had been holding off buying this and was prepared to wait until season 5 came out to buy a special box set. However I bought this because I couldn't resist. The discs have extra features too.

fringe 1-3 blu ray
The Blu-rays' quality is very good, and the sound is perfect. I know people have been complaining about the lack of proper menu for the first two seasons, but I don't really see a problem here. On a lot of Blu-rays, the menu just appears while you're playing it, I actually think it's convenient. I am not even going to start talking about how great the show is, because I could write for hours about how interesting, intelligent and amazing it is.

Travel to a parallel Universe and see how the other half live! When people can Walk Through Walls, Turn off Lights with their minds etc, why would you NOT want to SEE THIS????????? This is one of the best shows on TV so grab this bluray and ENJOY!!!!!!!

Very enjoyable sci-fi
A very enjoyable sci-fi series, with plenty of action, complex conspiracy plot lines and good character development. The plot has similarities to the X-Files.

Fringe - Seasons 1-3
This box set was great value. The complete seasons 1-3 means that's 65 episodes in glorious 1080p which works out about 50p an episode. Zavvi offer way better value than iTunes or any download service. There's plenty of extras thrown in and of course, it goes without saying, it's one of the most entertaining shows on TV. The only reason I didn't give it full 5 stars is that only season one is in DTS HD sound. Seasons 2 and 3 are just plain old Dolby Digital 5.1, but they still sound and look great. Well worth the money.
