Description

The life of Dave Lizewski is one of scarce problems; his day to day actions rarely stray from reading the comic books that he loves oh so much. Dave has a nice life and is content with it until the day he decides to change, he decides to make a difference with his life, he decides to become a Superhero!

Dave’s life suddenly changes when he walks out of his house clad with superhero mask and a decorative baseball bat, the only problem with Dave being a superhero... he has no powers. But like all good comic book readers, this doesn’t matter to Dave; his dream will not be swayed just because he lacks the skills of your everyday superhero.

Based on the violent comic tale of Mark Millar comes Kick Ass “I can't read your mind. But I can kick your ass”. Matthew Vaughn (Layer Cake) has adapted this tale along with Marv Films production. Aaron Johnson stars as Dave Lizewski AKA Kick-Ass, the crime-fighting teen. Lyndsy Fonseca co-stars as the character's object of desire, with Nicolas Cage also appearing as an ex-cop whose hatred of a drug lord forces him to train his daughter to be a lethal vigilante.

A jaw dropping experience

Dave Lizewski is a teenager with a question to his friends: How come no one dresses up as a superhero+ When he tries to find out, he gets the shit kicked out of him and he winds up in a hospital. Despite his first, brutally painful failure, he gets the attention of Hit Girl, big Daddy and Red Mist. All four takes on a devoted path to ridding the world of evil. This is one of the best movies I have ever seen, and I have a new favourit charachter in Hit Girl, who can rival even the toughest of the tough. Matthew Vaughn takes a comic and brings it to a fantastic new life and every character in the film - even Nick Cage - delivers an awesome performance. This special edition Blu Ray is a must in every house that just loves hard asses like John MacLane, Dutch (from Predator), T-1000 and Travis Bickle. This is truly a movie to Remember!
