On his way to finding a legend...he will become one.

Based on the children’s novels by Kathryn Lasky comes an animated adaptation directed by cult director Zack Snyder. A mythical race of barn owls are threatened by evil forces. A young barn owl under the name of Soren (Jim Sturgess) is captured by the sinister Metalbeak (Joel Edgerton) and he, along with other owlets are brainwashed into becoming soldiers. Luckily for Soren, this brainwashing doesn’t work and he and his friends escape.

Soren dreams of joining his heroes; the legendary Owls of Ga’Hoole, and the group journey to find them in the hope that they will join the fight to rid the land of evil forces.
