Sir Arthur Conan Doyle will im sure approve of this version of one his books. Yes it's had the Guy Ritchie touch & I know that wont meet with everybodies approval, but Conan Doyle was a literal genious, a words smith and very creative, and it's of Ritchies creativity im sure he would applaud. Sherlock Holmes (Robert Downey Jr.) is turned into an action junkie but he doesnt move away from the old homes's meticilous obsession with attention to detail. The other core Sherlock Holmes ingredient is Dr Watson, Jude Law plays a fantastic part and together they bounce of each other brilliantly. We were left hanging right until the end of the film before we were enlightend. The cast are brilliant and hold up the film well, the cinematography is amazing & the film score is also superb. The cherry on the top though for me is the clever way they manage to end the film, yes they film makers mangaged to keep us hooked with the introductin Holmes great nemasis himself ! An excellent watch, it's very enjoyable and one you will most certainly watch over & over.
