With a trilogy there's always a risk that the first film is the only real good one as the other two become copies of the first with tweaked stories. Thankfully with the Spiderman Trilogy this is not the case. With each film you can see the progression of the characters, the new challenges they face as well as the good and bad within each character that they battle within themselves. The blu ray quality was also excellent and you do get the full benefits of your blu ray player and HD TV. At the prices I paid it was easily a bargain compared to other boxsets out on the market currently.
The picture quality is fantastic, having seen these already on dvd I was staggered by the difference in video quality. Excellent value for money as well.
Bought this Spider-Man 1-3 set for our son as he is 'spiderman mad' at the moment. He has managed to watch them several times and is still getting excited about watching them over the weekend.
I bought this with a discount code and got it even cheaper, but even at full price this is a great buy. You cannot buy Spiderman 1 and 2 in Bluray by themselves in the UK. The films themself, I really enjoyed. I personally though it was a good transfer with picture and audio getting 10/10. The slip cover was a bit bashed when I received it, but this would have been due to Royal Mail. Items were delivered within two days of ordering. Thanks again Zavvi!
