Superb 2

Just saw the whole movie and for me dice stars. but 3D is les crispy in times, i didn adjust my Samsung to calibrate, but it has some elements before the screen and beyond is in times breathtaking. The story is entaertaining and brings suspense, the best movie so far, ? No that was indeed into darkness. But it hold ground and doesn't bore for one minute.

Superb

The metal case has a nice design up to the anniversarie of Star Trek, 60 years. The 3D is fine, and fairly good balanced beyond and in front of the screen. For the story I have to come back cause I only had a peek view on the movie. But this 13 th instalment is worthwhile for your collection. So buy it for a good price and go boldly where...

Good film; some learning points

So Star Trek Beyond is not the best out of the rebooted series, in my opinion. Star Trek Into Darkness holds that crown. However Star Trek Beyond is the first of the new films to venture into an all-new storyline. Though I suspect it was to bring the films back to a sort of synchronicity with the original Star Trek films with its ending. The acting is as good as can be expected; the storyline predictable and there is a little touch *cough* heavy touch *cough* of special effects for the sake of special effects. All that being the case the direction is pretty much on the button and humanisation of Kirk is making him a much more personable character than in the original series and movies, in this respect Pine shines with his portrayal of Kirk. If you're a Trekkie then, lets be honest, you've already purchased this or already know that you will purchase it. If not I wholeheartedly recommend this as it is a good film, which doesn't require 100% attention and therefore makes it an easy watch. Yes it has its shortcomings, but overall its a tremendous effort by all those involved. I think its 4* are well-earned.
