worth the upgrade

I already had the 10 DVD set of Tin Tin, actually the picture and sound quality was rather poor, I just assumed that's the way it was made! Happened to come across the Blu Ray set on Zavvi at a bargain price, and thought I would give it a go. Delivery was very fast (Well done Zavvi). Picture and sound quality was quite astounding. Now mastered in wide screen, true you loose a bit of top and tail of the picture area, but honestly you don't miss it. Just sit back and enjoy. 6 discs come in three double standard blu ray cases, housed in a lovely 3D box. Highly recommended. *****

amazing value!

This has got to be one of the best bargains this xmas. You get all 21 TinTin adventures on 5 Blu-rays and it also comes packaged in a lenticular sleeve which shows TinTin and Snowy running as you tilt the cover. If you loved the Steven Spielberg remake then you'll love this and to be honest I think the orginal cartoon is much better. It has better humour and the story is more engageing than the remake. Sure I like the new CGI movie but for true fans then the best way to enjoy the classic storys is to watch the orginals. This is a must buy for all ages and for all members of the family.

Comic books brought to life

Loved reading these comics. Movies is like an icing on the cake. Excellent idea to bring the comic book characters to life especially TIN TIN.
