Enjoyable horror flick. Nothing really new in terms of storyline and while the twist at the end tried to be original, I just felt like the filmmakers ran out of ideas and the whole thing was rushed at the end. I couldn't help but think they could've done a whole lot more with it. Disappointed with the last 20 mins or so. Nice lenticular slipcover though!
The film promised to be something special, but I found it to average. The plot line was lazy. However, it is an easy watch and fairly enjoyable, I just found that the story could have been enhanced. If you've got nothing else to watch, it's worth a go.
The Purge (Includes 3D Lenticular Sleeve and UltraViolet Copy) truly is a great movie. It has a very good plot with a few twist and turns as expected from a horror/thriller movie, but overall makes for very good viewing. I highly recommend this movie.
