The original
This is the dvd to have if you want to remember where your interest in space and astronomy started from. I remember watching this when I was a kid and was good to look back on what started my interest in these topics. Loved it as much this time around as when I first saw it!!! This series is the reason I'm in the field I work in today and a lot of people would say the same thing. Made me just as enthusiastic about the topic as it did when I was a kid.

Great digital print of a classic
Really impressed by the quality of the clean up done on this dvd set. Hard to belive (clothing asside) that it was made in the 70's

Cosmos, from yesterday today.
This DVD set is amazing, remastered, and reformatted for DVD, Carl Sagan takes us on an adventure of the Cosmos, from his ship of imagination. Even though the Cosmos series aired many years ago, most is still relevant today, yet, you can also view the giant leaps in knowledge and science we have gained since then. Carl Sagan has "legend" status in the science and physics world. A definite must watch for any prospective scientist, or those just interested in the subject, it caters for both easily. If you liked wonders of the Solar System, you'll love this. Sagan is one of Cox's inspirations. His lyrical approach to science is endearing, and makes you fall in love with our planet, and makes you realise how delicate it really is. I couldn't recommend it highly enough.
