What a wonderful series. I remember watching most of the shows when they were first broadcast and I was very disappointed that there was to be no more. Now I have the whole series to watch as many times as I like. I still wish that Victoria Wood had written a lot more. Ah well!!

Excellent value for money. Customer service, and subsequent speed of delivery was first class. As the dvd is for my son, and not personally to my taste, I can only say that he was over the moon when he knew it had arrived, and he can't wait to put it in his dvd player at christmas. I hadn't really watched Dinnerladies before, just caught a couple of episodes on TV. Then I saw this online and bought it on a whim, as an impulse buy. What a find! I watched the whole of series 1 and half of series 2 in one night! I absolutely love it and have since purchased loads of other stuff by Victoria Wood. To me, this is her prime piece though. You find yourselves following the lives of the ladies (and gents) working in the canteen of a factory and you instantly click with the characters. I have now watched it about four times, all the way through, and every time I catch a different joke and pick something different up from it to the previous viewings. A fantastic gift this Christmas!!
