Skateboarding means everything to Brian Kelly (Christian Slater). That is until his adopted Vietnamese brother is murdered and he sets off to solve the crime and bring the killers to justice. His skateboarding prowess, for which 'Gleaming the Cube' is slang, becomes a life-saving tool as he has to escape from the killers who are chasing him.
