Meryl Streep is fantastic, playing Julia Child an eccentric American who lives with her husband in Paris . He is busy with his politics and she turns to cookery to fill her time when she realises how much she loves food. On the other side of the world Julie Powell (Amy Adams) turns to her childs favourite cook book to ease her boredom. The film is hilarious and heart warming and definatly a must see film.
