First Time Ever on DVD! The Entire First Season in One 6 Disc Set!
Created by Steven Bochco (Hill Street Blues, NYPD Blue) and Terry Louise Fisher (Cagney & Lacey), LA Law is the multi award-winning courtroom drama that was a huge commercial and critical hit.
Join an all-star cast at Los Angeles law firm McKenzie, Brackman, Chaney & Kuzak, where many of the battles occur outside as well as inside the courtroom. In the season premiere, the office is shocked by the death of founding partner Norman Chaney, leaving the entire team to deal with the fallout. Tensions rise further when Michael Kuzak (Harry Hamlin), Arnie Becker (Corbin Bernsen), Anne Kelsey (Jill Eikenberry) and new associate Victor Sifuentes (Jimmy Smits) take on new cases that prove complex and challenging.
Tackling topical issues of the day, reflecting the social and cultural ideologies of the late 1980s and early 1990s, LA Law went on to win an unprecedented 6 Emmy Awards and 5 Golden Globe Awards.

I really enjoyed this when it first came out, but I was anxious about getting the set in case it wasn't as good as my memory told me it should be. No worries - I watched half the series at the weekend. You quickly get involved with the regular characters and with the cases they deal with each week. As yet I haven't found any extras, but I haven't got to the end yet. I'm not really expecting any though.
