A new, technologically superior Soviet nuclear sub, the Red October, is heading for the U.S. coast under the command of Captain Marko Ramius (Connery). The American government thinks Ramius is planning to attack. The Hunt for Red October is an amazing film! It's the first in the line of Tom Clancy novels that have been adapted for the cinema screen. This is the first film following Jack Ryan (Fictional Character Created by Tom Clancy) and both Alec Baldwin (Plays Jack Ryan) and Sean Connery were amazing! Once you have watched The Hunt for Red October, the final 3 films are all must see films.
