The Skullcandy Fix Earphones with Mic do have excellent sound quality, however the downside is that they don't stay in your ears as they're supposed to. I wouldn't recommend these at all.
The Skullcandy: Fix Buds Headphones with Mic3 are brilliant. They stay in your ear whilst running, comfy fit, excellent sound. The in cord control is easy to use and I would recommend them.
I was looking for a set of headphones with the ability to make and receive calls. I stumbled across these and although the product description seemed to tick all the boxes and the price was very reasonable, I've been left disappointed. It was well packaged and presented but the quality of the headphones are relatively poor. The description states that calls can be answered/ended, and volume adjusted through the 'Mic3' feature. However, this has not worked since using the product. The 'Fixbuds' are also not fit for purpose as they keep falling out even whilst I'm walking. I now use these headphones as a cheap handsfree kit If you're looking for a cheap, entry-level handsfree kit, this could suffice but I would recommend spending a bit more money on something which works properly.
Whilst these Skullcandy: Fix Buds Headphones with Mic are undoubtedly value for money, they don't do exactly what they say on the tin. The sound quality is reasonable to good if you're just walking around or commuting, but they didn't sit well in my ears when I went for a jog (the reason I purchased them was because they said they don't fall out of the ears like normal earphones). I was about 100 metres into my run before they started falling out and I had to spend the next 5 miles playing around with them. They are now my commuting and general earphones, because as stated before, the sound quality is good when they stay in your ears, but I'll be looking for a better set to run with.
