This game is what you'd call a visual novel, it's like an interactive story like virtues last reward or phoenix wright. It's absolutely mental and very proudly Japanese in its logic and oddness. The game is about a class of students - who are each the best in their field - being held captive in a big brother style scenario on a tropical island. Their captor is basically a talking homicidal teddy bear called Monokuma whom quickly turns the students against each other in a game of death where the victor gains their freedom if they get away with their crime. The aim of the game is to investigate your fellow students murder scenes and catch the culprit in phoenix wright style trials. It's all very colourful and filled with great characters, I really recommend this and it's predecessor if you want something more story and character based for the vita. This game also works with vita TV.
