If you own Skylanders Giants: Booster Pack and the portal already, this pack will save you a lot of money, as it comes without the portal. All old and the new Skylanders will work with your old portal. If you already liked Skylanders, you will like Skylanders Giants, too. The giants come with new spells for this new adventure. You don't need giants to play this follow-up, but I would recommend it, as all quests can't be done - or are at least more difficult to solve. One Giant is already in this pack and you can play through all of these adventures.
I am so pleased with this Skylanders Giants: Booster Pack, it's such a great concept and keeps the kids happy as they can collect the characters etc. I would recommend this product as it has been brilliant so far and really kept my children's interest.
