Excellent Price Having lots of fun with it

Good points: Great active family entertainment. Lots of different exercises and games. Bad points: One reason I bought Wii fit plus was to add a different exercise routine to my already current quite hectic schedule. However, Wii fit plus assumes you're not fit to start with, therefore the cardio exercises are far too slow and short for those of us that already exercise regularly. They are fun though. Wii fit plus advises you to do the training exercise daily. However, part of this exercise is a weigh-in. I haven't found any way of skipping this bit. Weighing yourself daily is not a good habbit to get into, you should weigh weekly at the most if you're trying to lose weight, as one's weight fluctuates naturally from day to day and this can cause a huge downer for no reason. To save you picking one exercise at a time, which can be quite time consuming, you can set up a regular program, but only for the toning exercises, you're not given the option of including any cardio sessions in your regular program. The most effective form of exercise, partiularly for weight loss, is to insert cardio sessions inbetween your toning exercises which keeps your heart rate up for longr, but doing that is quite long winded with this game as you have to click backwards and forwards within the sections. Overall I would say for a fun, active family game it does the trick, but there are quite a few things I would change to make it a serious workout game to get you fit and lose weight by. I definitely expected better.

Item is brand new as described. It was delivered complete and in excellent condition with the speed of light so fast it seemed like it was delivered before I had ordered it!!!. It was the best price I could find online and the free postage made it very good value for money. I have used it and it does every thing it is supposed to. I had not heard of zavvy.com before and because I had such a happy shopping experience with them I will certainly shop with them again, it will always be my first port of call.

I finally got round to buying one of these and I love it, exercises are great and keep me active and entertained. Lot of variety to keep me interested.

Being a larger lady i am not one to want to go to the gym, i would prefer other ways to get fit and loose weight, so for my birthday my partner purchased Wii Fit Plus and the balance board, first time i had a go with this i was worried it would be hard and very intense workouts, but suprisingly it is not, there are different levels of difficulty for everyone to try. Just half an hour every day doing gentle jogging, or hula hooping, step ups etc has helped me loose 6lb in the last 2 weeks, i can still eat what i was before and not feel guilty, if i do then its an extra 20 mins on the wii fit for me lol. Well worth the buy, helps me track weight loss/gain, you can enter a target weight you want to loose in 2 weeks and when you reach your target you can reset it. For those of you who want to get fitter but can't afford £40 a month membership for the gym this is a cheap alternative. Being stuck in a 12 month contract of £40 a month and only using it for a month is not great which is one of the great benefits of wii fit plus, you only have a contract with yourself to keep fit then!
