ARMORED CORE V is a new entry that revolutionizes the series with more content than the previous games, a completely new atmosphere, and a robust offline mode. In addition, the online mode has been newly designed to focus on huge team-based battles on a global scale. Featuring mechs or “Armored Cores” that are smaller in scale than in previous games, ARMORED CORE V centers more on tactics and effectively utilizing the geography of a level rather than just relying on attacks.

Mecha...again!
This is a good AC, not good as ACFA but I love the customizing level, there are still few details in towns but...who cares, we will destroy all xD

Armored Core V
Demon's Souls meets Gundam in this online capable Mecha action game. Nice rework of the controls for the cores, fast paced and a lot of fun. It doesn't feel like the old armoured core games but this title does them justice as this is a great game to play.

Niche Game - 4/5
Mech games are not for everyone. They have steep learning curves and require a lot of time investment to fully understand the game's mechanics, enemies and customization options. That said, the actual gameplay is even more convoluted and may seem unpolished at first. However if you put the time in to learn the game it quickly becomes addictive and very enjoyable. Gameplay spans 100+ hours if you try to accomplish everything in the game and the online functionality adds a bit of lively atmosphere to the game's depressing settings. Overall I give Armored Core V 4/5.

Wanna be a Mecha pilot! ...This is a daily chore that requires patience.
Armored Core V encourages online gaming. An off-line story and off-line free missions are still present, but it is much more rewarding to be part of a team and contribute to the conquest of the eight regions of the online world. As usual, Armored Core series offers lot of customization options for your mecha and Armored Core V is no exception. If you like tweaking e fine tuning your robot, customization is...godlike. Apart from Mecha design that is awesome, graphics deserve better technical production and it is without doubt that a more involving story would be an encouragement to makes a single-player repeat the same tough mission over and over again. Beware this is not a game for everyone: - tough missions - mecha control is complex and patience is the key to master your robot -statistics, balancing, customization could be overwhelming. It' a good game of mecha and online gaming is really rewarding, buy it if you love robots and customization, but be ready to put a lot of efforts into.

How Armored is your Core?
Armored Core V is everything a mech nut would want! There are a lot of things you can do in this game and new stuff comes along as you play. AC veterans have a much easier time to get started, because the system has gone some changes and it comes natural for them to adapt and take a hold of the new half sized AC's. Newcomers on the other hand that don't know anything from the AC series can find the first steps to be quite daunting, but do not be discouraged! The game is with a little learning and patience not that hard to learn! The extreme amount of customization in this game is crazy! The online in AC 5 is done really well. The battle royales you can have with others and the co-op play is one of the best I have experienced in recent games! You will not run out of things to do in this game for a long time! An abundance of order missions coupled with the awesome story missions will have you glued to your controller for hours! I have played almost every other AC game there is and this is by far the best armored core I have ever played!
