Borderlands 2 Come And Get Me
Set five years after the original Borderlands, a power-hungry villain by the name of Handsome Jack is taking credit for the heroism of the four previous vault hunters' actions, and in turn seizing control of the planet Pandora. The game introduces four new ferocious Vault Hunters to the fray who set out to stop the evil mastermind, and also the CEO of the Hyperion Corporation, from opening a vault and letting loose an ancient evil: an alien known as "the Warrior". In order to achieve and succeed in this deadly and dangerous mission, you will need the help of the original four...
Borderlands 2 makes full use of its signature gameplay style of role-playing shooter, with you playing as one of the four vault hunters. The classes of the characters range from Axton (Commando), Maya (Siren), Salvador (Gunzerker), and Zer0 (Assassin), each having their own unique special skill set and weapon proficiencies, such as Salvador possessing the ability to dual-wield guns and go on a berserk rampage. The weapon options are bursting at the seams due to the help of the new gun system that expands on customisation, along with the variety of style of guns, meaning millions, if not endless possibilities. Alongside the almost limitless multitude of guns, there are grenades, procedurally generated shields, Alien Artifacts, and class mods to get your hands on, to name but a few. Prepare to shoot and loot your way through Pandora as one of these colourful characters.
Quests will be assigned via non-player characters or from bounty boards, and the rewards can vary from experience points, to money, and everything inbetween. Killing enemies and completing in-game challenges will also reward you with experience points, which can then be used to grow in level, and also allocate skill points into the three branch skill trees. These trees allow you to progress through and enhance your character's special skill sets, giving you the ability to completely tailor your character to your preferred style of decimation, amongst other things. Other gameplay features range from and include the beloved Borderlands multiplayer options, where you can team up with up to three other players online, or team up with a friend and play on split-screen as a duo, because mayhem and madness is always more fun when shared.
Borderlands 2 has been careful to only expand and improve upon the unique features and systems that were introduced in the original game Borderlands, staying true to the almost overly enjoyable manic chaos that is the game's signature play style. In Borderlands 2, the story continues with 4 new characters with new, amazing powers. Discover the secrets of Pandora alone or with up to 3 other friends (4 players online, 2 split-screens). Even the humour of the robot "Claptrap" is a good reason to play. It's a game that you cannot miss in your collection.

I really love Borderlands 2. It's even better then Borderlands 1. I'm on my 4th. playthrough and still can't get enough. A combination of FPS and RPG can't get any better then this. It has a great story, great gameplay, great characters and a lot of hilarious moments. This is a must buy for every gamer.

This game is awesome! If you're into RPGs and shoot em ups then you will love it. What is good about Borderlands 2 is that it can be played by 2 players, so you can play with a mate or get the other half involved if she's into gaming a little bit (at least worth a try). Overall 5/5. Well done Gearbox!

Another amazing game in a truly outstanding series, borderlands 2 keeps the familiarity, gameplay and humour of the first game, but it improves on everything. An awesome narrative with some of the most creative and best writing I've seen in a video game, filled with the great borderlands humour that we have all grown to love. For a modern shooter it really stands out from the crowd with solid and enjoyable mechanics, along with the unique shoot-n-loot mechanic, which has also been vastly improved since the last game. Also, the skill tree's vary much more, allowing three unique paths for each character. There is no doubt that playing it solo is great fun, but this game truly shines when playing with friends. The co-op experience is without doubt the best I've ever played. There is absolutely nothing to complain about when it comes to this game, it achieves everything it has set out to do and improved on it in almost every way since borderlands 1. it is a great game, made by gamers.

This is a great FPS/RPG game. The graphics are different from other games and are something that makes it stand out from other FPS's like Call of Duty and the fact that the computer randomly generates guns so each time you play you'll find new random weapons. The story is good and it's really funny. I haven't found any problems with this game and with DLC being released it provides hours/days/weeks of entertainment. Highly recommend!

This game is a 5 out of 5, without a doubt. The graphics are incredibly eye pleasing, the story is entertaining and funny, and the shooting is just superb (mainly due to the unlimited amount of guns). One great thing about the game is that you can play the game together with your friends, which increases the fun and also the rewards. In my opinion best shooter of 2012 100% Recommendation on this and a must have for serious gamers.

Borderlands 2 is the typical, expected and standard sequel - 'more of the same' with plenty of new (if very familiar) content such as character classes, environments, weapons and enemies. While there's more of an effort with the characters and storyline, it still boils down to 'Look for the vault, again' and retains the same manic gun-play as the original game. Like the original, the highlight of the game is billions of weapon configurations available to players. If you're looking for a first person shooter that (still) doesn't take itself seriously and focuses more on masses of enemies and crazy guns than it does anything else, you'll enjoy it, especially in co-op multiplayer. Others may wish for something a little more refined and polished.
Better than the first in almost every way

Borderlands 2 does what most sequels fail to do. It improves the game and it does so in almost all areas you can think of. The cartoon like graphics, story, voice actors, character development, vehicles, multiplayer and loot system have all been improved from the first game. It also adds new stuff but not too much and things are still quite easily manageable. There is only one thing that bothers me while playing this game and it is that the character get's stuck to the environment way too often. I don't mean that you cannot continue playing or anything as bad as that. I mean that quite often there is a small ridge on the ground and walking towards it causes the character to "walk against a wall" and you need to back away and maneuver around the glitch. This same happens often while walking against rails or walls or boxes on the ground etc. It's annoying. I think that in these situations the character should slide along the object, not get stuck. Overall this game is so much fun that I can easily give it five stars and recommend it to all adults. The humor and the gore is not suitable for kids. Multiplayer (up to 4 players) is clearly the way this game was meant to be played so remember to promote it to your friends also.

Borderlands 2 is an excellent sequel of the first awesome Shooter-RPG Borderlands. In co-op mode it's even more awesome. There's so much to discover and even if you played it through once you won't see everything. If you like action then this game is great as you can kick some ass.
