The game starts off following on from the first one so if you haven't played that you may be slightly confused as to what's going on but EA have thought of people like that and included a small video you can watch from one of the menus explaining what has happened in the previous game. The gameplay is brilliant, EA have created amazing suspense for when your walking around the level, lights flickering and noises coming from the mutants screaming around you. I still haven't completed the game yet but its a big improvement from the first game. I would definitively recommend Dead Space 2.
A sequel that's better then the original. But still suffers from the same downfall of not being very long. Only a 10-15 hour game. The positives are that combat is super fun, the enemies will scare your socks off and the game will completely captivate you. Definitely a win for anyone who liked the first one and newcomers alike

Welcome to Dead Space 2! After a nightmarish introduction, with some excellent sound design, you are thrown straight into the action. From the get go you are immersed in this blend of action and horror set in deep space in a claustrophobic space city. The story essentially picks up from where the first one finished and slowly peels back the layers on the Isaac Clarkes past. All in an enjoyable play, with a few genuine scares if you're playing with the lights off and the volume up. If you like survival horror buy this game.
Dead Space 2 is a bone chilling thriller game. A sure guarantee to get your heart pumping.
I had high expectations for this sequel as I thoroughly enjoyed the first one. I'm glad to say that this one didn't disappoint me. I still had a few scares here and there even though I was expecting something to pop up suddenly. The only downside is that this sequel was a little short for me. But other than that, I have no complaints. Definitely a must-try if you're a fan of the first one.

One of the best games for ps3. Play it night and you are going to loose your sleep for sure. The tension is very higj and there is no way tha you wont enjoy it. Don't miss to play the first dead space.
