Something driver games haven't been for a while: FUN

I highly recommend this game. It is a fun arcade style game. Something the Driver series hasn't been able to achieve for years. An interesting story, some fresh mechanics and a fun multiplayer makes this an incredible experience.

    Driver is Great

This was by far the cheapest place to purchase on Zavvi and well worth the money. The story starts off very slowly but after 1 hour of gameplay you soon get the hang of what the game is all about if a little different to other driving games. It is a mixture of Grand Theft and need for speed most wanted. Some great races and challenges and massive range of vehicles which can be bought or accessed in the outer body experience. All in all a great game and fantastic value for money from Zavvi. What a bargain!

    Driver San Francisco

The unique game play of Driver San Francisco makes it completely different to any other racing games. The fact you can take control of the others' cars to cause some chaos is very cool. It's got really good graphics, all cars are fully licensed, and it supplies you with a great sense of freedom, that just makes it all feel so much fun.

    Great fun!

Driver: San Francisco is similar to Burnout Paradise so you can expect some over-the-top arcade style gameplay. Basically the 'shift' mechanic (freely switching from one car to another) lets you make some awesome encounters like colliding one car into another during a police chase or using a truck as a blockade during a race so that the other cars can't catch up. Whilst 'shifting' the time slows down dramatically so you can zoom in/out of the map & be able to plan ahead without things getting too hectic. There's hundreds of side missions to keep you occupied and the storyline is actually pretty enjoyable as well which is rare for a racing title. Overall I'd highly recommend it to anyone who's a fan of arcade style driving.

Best Driver since the first made

I'm very happy playing Driver San Francisco because it reminds me of the first Driver in many ways, like driving control and car pursuits. I like the Shift system a very good idea, that makes gameplay very constructive. If I had to recommend a driving game, this would be it.

Driver:SF - the most innovative game of the year

Driver: San Francisco does not have the best graphics or an outstanding story line. On the other hand, the game has an amazing gaming experience due to the great multiplayer modes. The technical details are some of the worst I've seen: the city looks the same where ever you go, the soundtrack is boring and limited. But a closer look reveals one of the most colorful and subversive games ever, the best proof for this argument is the 'shift' ability which allows you to literally jump from one car to another and hear the funny dialogues in it. You'll be glued to the screen, trying to navigate between traffic and facing dozens of challenges. These are what transform a game with a boring single player into a game that gives you and your friends many hours of fun.

    Unexpectedly perfect

The story is quite intriguing as a good detective story. It's also the best choice who just wants to relax driving around the streets; many diferent challenges, rich variety of cars, it's all here. Also it has the oldschool challenges and references to original driver. The developers made a great job ! Technical part of the game works perfectly with no confusions or bugs. I can't recomend this for everyone but certainly it's awesome game in it's genre.
