She spent years fighting her destiny. With courage in her heart, she faced the false gods who ruled over people for centuries.
Her unfaltering determination changed the world. The gods were vanquished, their plans to massacre the human race destroyed. As Cocoon fell, a single pillar formed, connecting the ravaged world to the one below-Pulse, the underworld. It was the beginning of a new era.
However, she was nowhere to be found. Everyone was convinced she was gone-with the exception of her sister, Serah Farron.
Three years later:
A single meteorite falls from the sky. As spatial distortions are created, bloodthirsty monsters appear, threatening the peaceful existence of the townspeople.
In the midst of this chaos, Serah is rescued by a young man by the name of Noel. A hunter from the future, he appears in front of her with a message.
"Come with me across the boundaries of time," he says. "Your sister is waiting."
She is Lightning—protector of the Goddess who rules the realm of death and chaos. She is Serah’s sister, her heroine, her savior.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 is a great sequel to FFXIII. The story is interesting, the battles are flashy and the game itself has a lot more hidden stuff than FFXIII, so you can be more adventurous. If you like FFXIII, you will like this one!

Final Fantasy XIII-2 is far better than the previous title of the series. FF XIII-2 offers an extra amount of sub quests, in which you can roam the world of Cocoon. The graphics are awesome as usual and the soundtrack is a 'must' in every Square Enix games.

I bought Final Fantasy XIII-2 as a present for my teenage son and he was ecstatic when it arrived so quickly in the mail. He was too busy gaming to help me write this review, so I guess that means the game is great.

I've just started playing Final Fantasy XIII-2 and I'm liking it so far! It's more open and less linear than Final Fantasy XIII. It comes with subtitles in various languages (based on your PS3 system's language), including Italian.

Anyone who likes fantasy games will love Final Fantasy XIII-2. It's a fantastic game with the same particular missions and objectives, and the possibility to change the world across the gate. It's an innovative idea. The rare monsters are the most difficult to try, but it is a principal feature of the RPG games. Sometimes, monsters that are defeated in battle will leave behind strange items know as monster crystals. By collecting these crystals, the gamers can turn those same monsters into allies who fight alongside you. There are also same mini-games in the Serendipity town, where you can play a slot machine or in the chocobo races. You will win same tokens to exchange for prizes. In short, it's fantastic.
