A great story that will keep you in the edge of your seat from beggining to end
Final Fantasy sure has changed over the years. Some claim its not the same game we all grew up loving anymore, but still, the 13º episode has a grand story, and a fantastic brand new battle system, combining fast paced battles with strategy, thanks to the new paradigm system. If you are fan of the genre this is one you cant miss, and even if you are not, but love a game with plenty to do and a great story, make sure to pick this one up.

It's the best thing you could ever see but with minor flaws
This game was excellent with minor flaws that I'm sure you could live with. Maybe they focused a little too much on the graphics but who could blame them? You have to top all Final fantasy graphics to make it all worthwhile. So there are minor flaws such as terms and maybe a lack of mini-games. I expected a little (that's a very small little) more out of this game considering that it took 4-5 years to make. Overall, it was all the best words you could think of, AWESOME, EXCELLENT, GREAT, MAGNIFICENT etc. So this game is all those words combined, it's a game that is just below the perfect mark.

Masterpiece? Hmm...
"Final Fantasy XII", for some a masterpiece and for others... Not so much. I am a bit sad to say that I belong to the "Not so much" side but don't get me wrong! I love the "Final Fantasy" series. Now here's why I give a 4 out of 5 to this game. The first "Final Fantasy" I played was IX and let me say, that game really afected the way I saw the world at the time, because the idea of living on that super amazing fantasy world filled with magic and wonder just blew my mind. When I got my hands on "Final Fantasy XII" it was kind of disappointing to play this game because it basically plays itself in an awkard way. Half the time I didn't even known what I was doing and just praying to get the battle over so I could catch on. But that's ok because the magnificent production values and the great original world, fleshed out by a compelling story, really kept me going. At the end you realise that is not quite what you were expecting, but still fun to play.

Something for the not-so-diehards
If you're looking for the authentic FF experience, then you will probably be slightly disappointed. Although lacking in a thrilling storyline, the story is narrative and takes you into the new world of Final Fantasy XIII, the same universe as upcoming Final Fantasy Versus XIII and Final Fantaasy Agito XIII. Despite the shortcomings of the story development, this FF offers a totally different experience onto the table. The battle system is revolutionary and it feels like everything is happening at real time. The battle system alone will make this game an unmissable for people who own a PS3 or 360.

Yet another masterpiece by SquareEnix
If you expect yet another Final Fantasy you are on the wrong road. This game is completely different from the old Final Fantasy, but still it's a great game. The combat system changed a lot, now the player can just use one character, while the other two are supportive and played by the CPU. The characters can change job by switching paradigms, in this way the game creates a new dimension in RPGs. The history is very well structured and has a lot of dramatic turn of events, which won't let the player bored. The only thing that I didn't liked about this game is that it's very linear until the very end, when it becomes just like any other Final Fantasy, with a lot of side quests and rare objects to gather. In the end, I must admit I really enjoyed this game, even though it's so linear the story is very nice. The Final Fantasy aficionado can be disappointed but in the end they will love this new masterpiece signed SquareEnix.

Loved it !
If im being honest I found this game a little diffiuclt to follow at first, but by sticking with It It didnt take me to long discover more about the characters, where they came from, and how they fit into the bigger picture. The story itself is fantastic and the battle system works briilliantly, much better than I was expecting. The graphics are slick and quite beautiful, the only down side I can see is that they are a little bit linear, and tend to repaet themselves in the scenery. I could spend hours typing about this game telling you all about it, but to be brutally honest Im going back playing it now as its excellent. Id recommend this game to everybody, so get out there and get it bought, you wont be dissapointed.
