Platform games were always a very strong branch of the gaming industry. When the developers announced Little Big Planet, they said it would be a revolutionary game. Those words were true. Never in the history of gaming interactivity and connecting with your friends was so easy as it is now with help of LBP. The game is a simple platformer at first glance, but later you get to know the possibilities that game gives you. You're in control of Sackboy; a little guy (or girl) made from fibre. It looks a little like a teddy bear, so your kids will love it from the moment they see it. You can customize your Sackboy by changing clothes, his colour and even facial expressions. Using the controller you can move his hands, head, shake his body or if somebody steps in your way, punch him in the face. You can also grab another character so that you don't have to fly up to some place twice. One of the main aspects of the game is cooperation. If you have four controllers, you can play with four of your friends on one system or you can play with them through PSN. Cooperation on one system is a bit of a problem when everyone wants open menu to for e.g customize sackboy. Menus are covering the whole screen so you can't see anything. LBP has its own storyline. You have to save the inhabitants of the planet you're on from evil mastermind. The game is split on a couple of different themes, everyone contains 3-4 levels. As you go through levels, you collect bubbles for points and new clothes, things you can later use to build your own level. Yes, build your own level. LBP gives you a massive tool which will help you create everything that's on your mind right now. Using PS3's camera EYE you can add your own stickers, add your pictures and other stuff. Physics plays a big role in the game. You can move almost every object, if you are capable of doing so. You can't move stone object because they're too heavy for your character to handle. You can, however move sponge objects, foams, balloons and other light stuff. Visual part of the game is also great. Everything is colorful, child-friendly, characters and environment models are great as well. Soundtrack is also amazing, songs fit perfectly to a game's style, they're fast and make you want to party. Overall LBP is a great game, there were a few issues at the beginning, but they were fixed by patches. Final Score: Visuals: 5 Audio: 5 Fun: 5

Little Big Planet
I was not very sure about buying this game thinking it was maybe a kid's game. but zavvi's price on this game was too cheap to resist, so i decided to buy and give it a try. This game turns out to be better than what i have initially thought it would be and i am glad i have purchased this game. you will like this game if you like to play platform games like mario.
