I bought Sleeping Dogs as a gift so cannot comment on the game itself but I am told that it is very good. This game was by far cheaper on zavvi than any other website and arrived very promptly.
GTA in HK? Much more!
This game is really great. The gameplay reminds me of the GTA series, of course, but I can say it's better in many many ways. The city is alive and colourful, the missions are nice and never boring and the story is nice. Also the fighting mechanics are good, both with weapons and bare hands. Great great job.

Great game , story is like watching Hong Kong action movie classics , great characters and voice actors. - only thing this game lacks is more different side missions and better graphics.

Sleeping Dogs: Limited Edition is an awesome game. It's different in that it is set in Hong Kong and based around Asian Triads. There is lots of action, but the only downside is that the game is a bit short.

One of the best games from the recent time
The battle system in Sleeping Dogs is great. The driving is fun and the storyline is very interesting. Even if it takes just 24 hours to achive 100%, it remains one of the best games for 2012.

Nice Kung Fu fights, really cool game. Does need some nicer graphics though. I would give it a 7 for graphics and an 8 for gaming control.

Sleeping Dogs is an amazing game the story seems short however there are loads of side missions that keep you playing long after.

Sleeping Dogs is an amazing game, its just like a John Woo movie. With Hollywood Style chases, epic shoot outs and brutal fight scenes. If you love Sandbox games like GTA and Saints Row then this is definitely a game you should not miss. The Graphics are great don't expect Uncharted or anything but the game runs smoothly and is extremely fun. Don't waste anymore time reading reviews pick it up and you'll love it trust me!

Sleeping Dogs: Limited Edition is very exciting and fun.
Good GTA alternative but buggy
Pros: Better than GTA4 in a fighting sense. Graphics and character ability to jump are better (on PS3) than GTA4. Can use environmental objects in fights. Cons: Driving camera auto rotation a bit dizzy. Only played 3-4 hours and had to restart 2 times due to stuck in bugs (once enemy and character got into different layer and can't hit each other; once somehow got into a bus and can't get out) Sub-titles not fully worked. So as I don't speak Cantonese Chinese, I don't understand most characters speaking on the street.

I can't find anything wrong with Sleeping Dogs: Limited Edition. It's similar to a game I played on the PS2, True Crime.
Good fun
If you like GTA and Saints Row Sleeping Dogs is a good combination of the two. It's a fun open world to roam, with side-missions available alongside the main story. The only disappointing aspect is that the game could have been longer - perhaps more DLC will eventually become available to enhance the game.
AmaZing
This is one of the best games I have played in a long time. It's very action packed and well worth the money.
Sleeping Dogs has a very good storyline. The free roaming gameplay gives you good longevity and there are various story missions and side missions to complete. The combat is fast paced and overall it's a really good game.

I had pre-ordered the game Sleeping Dogs and it arrived in good time. I'm at home now playing this excellent game for a good price that you won't get in most places.

Sleeping Dogs is the only game this year that I've wanted to just keep playing. It's an epic game with brutal fighting and the background conversations are hilarious. Nice game to keep you busy until GTA 5.
