Description

The latest in the acclaimed Tales of Japanese role-playing game franchise.

Tales of Xillia follows Jude Mathis, a clever medical student attending school in the capital city, and Milla Maxwell, a mysterious woman accompanied by four unseen beings. Players will be able to choose either Milla or Jude at the outset of their adventure through the world of Rieze Maxia, where humans and spirits live together in harmony. The kingdom of Rashugal has been experimenting with a powerful device that has been draining the mana from the world. Realising the harm it is inflicting on the world, Milla and Jude set off on a journey to destroy it and restore the mana back to the world. Over the course of the game their lives will intersect with a vast ensemble of characters that will teach them the meaning of life, and what it truly means to live for oneself.

Features:

  • Players will engage enemies with the critically acclaimed Linear Motion Battle System that the Tales of series is famous for. The system allows for real-time movement and attacks, giving the player a more tactile role in the midst of fights.
  • The battle system in Tales of Xillia has been upgraded to let two characters combine their attacks to utilize devastating dual-character attack, letting fans strategize the best party setup for their style of play.

Great...

Great game for a great price, this is one of the best rpg of the year. Not so charming as Ni No Kuni, but still a great game, I'm loving it, and I could only recommend it for everyone who loves the genre :)

I've not enjoyed a Tales series game this much since, Radiant Mythology on the PSP. Tales of Xillia is a excellent fast-paced JRPG, with magnificent visual style, great characters and lively, fast paced action combat.

A good Tales

True to the series, its most refined combat system yet and a likable cast make this one of the better Tales of titles to date.

Great

Tales of Xillia is among the best JRPGs of this generation. Long game with a satisfying game play and a nice story. If you have an interest in the genre buy it.

Beautiful

Tales of Xillia is beautiful and fun, with an interesting story line and great battles. The gameplay graphics could use some extra work but it's not much of an issue because the game is great and you don't notice it much.

Well worth the 2-year wait!

I'm not a die-hard "Tales" fan, I've only played Vesperia and Graces but for me - Xillia is better than the two put together! The battle system is how I've always known it and very easy to use, the graphics are so crisp and colourful and the plot is far more immersive and understandable than it's predecessors. Overall this is title that all JRPG fans must own however unless you are a collector - there's no real need for the Day One Edition unless you really want it.
