Spawn on your squad to get straight into the action, and use gadgets such as the tracer dart in-conjunction with the RPG to devastating effect. Excellence in the battlefield is rewarded with an extensive range of pins, insignias and stars to unlock along with 50 dedicated ranks to achieve. Variety also extends into the range of customisable kits weapons and vehicles available. With 4 distinct character classes, 46 weapons, 15 gadgets, 13 character specialisations and over 15000 kit variations to discover and master players will be able to fine-tune their preferred fighting style to give them the edge in combat.
All of these features combine to deliver spectacular and unpredictable action moments found nowhere else in the genre. Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is all-out multiplayer warfare at its absolute finest!

Almost perfect
For anyone who loves first person shooters and played the first game. The game is almost perfect. The only 2 things I don't like, are: 1. Bad Company was funnier. 2. Bad Company didn't allow to carry more than 1 "serious" weapon. 3. Bad Company had been a bit more challenging. But these 3 things are very minor. Sure the story is stupid and as banal as it can possibly be, but the gameplay, the graphics and the variety of levels are simply perfect. The mulpiplayer is also great - you'll spend a lot of hours killing other people. Highly recommended.

BREATHTAKING!!!!!!
This game is amazing, packed full of action. campaign isnt to good but online is the most amazing experience of a shooter ever, the graphics are amazing and the maps are huge allowing you to do what ever you like and even lets you fly helicopters, drive tanks, drive humvees and drive quads ELECTRIFYING!!!!!!!!!!

Great game!!
In my opinion this is a very very good game! The single campaign isn't as good, as it can be, but the multiplayer is awesome. The Frostbite engine is very cool, the explosions, the destruction etc.

Best FPS online experience!
Battlefield Bad Company truely is the best FPS online experience! The single player is great fun but these days its all about taking games online and it does it in style! One of best parts is the Destruction 2.0.. Dice have nailed it. Buildings are great cover, you can create holes in walls to use in your advantage but be aware buildings crumble and they fall! GREAT STUFF! To me it's the best all rounder, it has huge maps! Plus best in class vehicles from tanks, helecopters, boats, jeeps and buggys. Driving your freinds around is allways great fun :) You get 4 different in game classes from Assault, Medic, Engineer and Recon. As you rank up you unlock guns and perks to use and variations to discover and master. With Vietnam coming soon it will still rule as the number 1 online shooter CANT WAIT!!

The campaign isn't much but online play is absolutely awsome..Amazing graphics and massively playable gameplay. And for £20-£30 I recommend Bad Company 2 to everyone with first person shooter knowledge.

Flawed in some areas...but exceeds in others!
The game doesn't have the best "gun play" engine available, with many claiming that you can take pot shots from a mile away and still kill due to massive gun damage and lower health soldiers, compared to CoD anyhoo. But none of that matters, because for a change, you really feel the teamwork in squads, you feel the battlefield with destruction engine 2.0 and the MASSIVE maps which, to be honest, put the Call of Duty maps to shame! All of this, coupled with a great price at Zavvi, makes it a must have for all "hardcore" gamers and even a "tryout" for the Call of Duty Loyalists! Happy Gaming!

You're in Bad Company now!
Battlefield Bad Company 2 is an excellent example of what makes a good FPS. With a highly enjoyable online multiplayer experience and a character driven, fun to play single player campaign, BC2 ticks all the right boxes. One of the best things about the campaign is the way DICE pokes fun at Modern Warfare 2. Throughout the story you'll hear funny remarks from your squadmates about MW2 - I won't spoil any here. Familiar faces from Bad Company return in the form of Sgt Redford, Haggard and Sweetwater. You resume the role of Preston Marlowe as you and your squad are sent on a perilous mission to find out what those pesky Russiands are up to, and hopefully put an end to WWIII. Multiplayer is better than ever with the addition of destruction 2.0. Now entire buildings can be levelled with enough firepower. The rank up system with unlocks along the way is well implemented and requires players to put in the hours if they want better weapons, equipment and class specialisations. I thoroughly recommend BC2 to anyone looking for a new FPS to invest in. See you on the battlefield!

A Fantastic FPS Game
I have to admit this is arguably one of the best FPS games on the market. I dont see any point of comparing it against COD or MW2 because in my opinion they are completely different games. Compared to the the original it's much improved, the maps look loads better although targeted more towards snipers, the weapons choice is excellent. The game modes although limited are quality, the graphics & sound are fantastic and the game play brilliant. On line or off this game is extremely addictive and very enjoyable and good fun, it will be an incredable game that knocks this off my top spot, I strongly reccomend that you give this ago Im so excited knowing the pleasure your about to experience.
