    Description

You play Adam Jensen, an ex-SWAT specialist who's been handpicked to oversee the defensive needs of one of America's most experimental biotechnology firms. Your job is to safeguard company secrets, but when a black ops team breaks in and kills the very scientists you were hired to protect, everything you thought you knew about your job changes

Badly wounded during the attack, you have no choice but to become mechanically augmented and you soon find yourself chasing down leads all over the world, never knowing who you can trust. At a time when scientific advancements are turning athletes, soldiers and spies into super enhanced beings, someone is working very hard to ensure mankind's evolution follows a particular path.

You need to discover where that path lies. Because when all is said and done, the decisions you take, and the choices you make, will be the only things that can change it.

    Features:

    • A divided near-future: discover a time of great technological advancement, but also a time of chaos and conspiracy. Mechanical augmentations of the human body have divided society between those who can afford them, and those who can't. Opposing forces conspire from the shadow to control the destiny of mankind: a human revolution is coming.
    • A perfect mix of action and role-play: the game uniquely combines action-packed close-quarter takedowns with intense shooting, offering a vast array of character augmentations and upgrades for the many weapons at your disposal. Unlock new abilities and increase your stealth, social, hacking or combat skills: the game rewards all styles of play and approaches. Determine how you want your character to evolve, based on how you want to play the game.
    • Choices and consequences: shoot your way through your enemies, sneak up behind them without being traced, hack systems to retrieve crucial information, or use your social skills to extract information from key characters - there are always choices, multiple approaches, multiple paths and multiple tools at your disposal. Choose your playing style and face the consequences of your actions: you decide how the story unfolds.

    Finally new Deus Ex!

After all these years since first Deus Ex... I have to say it was worth waiting for. Three styles of gameplay, great unpredictable story, soundtrack and nice art style, a lot of sidequests. Gametime around 15-25 hours.

    Excellent RPG!!

Deus Ex 3 is one of the best RPGs on the market! It has tons of content and varied ways to deal with a situation and upgrades along with an interesting conspiracy story. It is a worthy successor of the original Deus Ex and worth every penny in my opinion.

    Almost perfect

Man, I remember how much I loved the first Deux Ex game a long time ago. And if you are trying to reanimate a franchise after 10 years, there are usually 2 causes: 1. You want all those old gamers remembering the first game to get pretty much the same feelings, since you respect all those small bits and pieces that made the first one so great. Sure new gamers who never played the first one would also be interested. 2. You just own this IP and decide to make some money on the name without actually doing anything (hello Duke Nukem Forever). Luckily, this one is under the 1st scenario. It feels like Deus Ex, plays like Deus Ex, etc. It's brilliant if you ask me. I would love to put 4.5 stars to be honest since all the boss fight are horrible. They feel like they were added in the last week of development. And some models (like the cars) are really low-poly and their textures are quite low res. But other than that, the game is perfect! I loved hacking all those PCs, security terminals, etc. I loved stealth - I finished the game without killing anyone and making them turn hostile. I loved updating my augmentations. I loved pretty much everything. Buy it - you'll love it. It's long, so at this price - it's a bargain.

    A worthy prequal

Deus Ex 3 is a great change of pace from your typical First Person Shooter. Choose how you want to approach the game: brute force, stealth, pacifist (hacking) - it all works! Except when it comes to boss fights.

    Deus Ex

This game is really good and especially will be great and interesting for a fans of "cyberpunk" genre and technology. The game is possessing a great atmosphere , very interesting and intriguing story, authentic experience of the near future and all that stuff which makes that future (cybernetics, nano-technology, big global corporations and oligarchs who stands behind all that, their conspiracies directed against the whole humanity. This game is very good, I highly recommend.

Brilliant game let down by unchallenging boss fights

Deus Ex: Human Revolution is a brilliant game that is let down only by its unchallenging boss fights. The gameplay experience is both immersive and a lengthy playtime. My first playthrough on the hardest setting took somehere in the region of 35 hours and I enjoyed every minute. The graphics and sound are generally highly detailed and the storyline is wonderful. Buy this game!

    True RPG

I once thought that they don't make games like Deus Ex anymore. I`m glad I was wrong. With Deus Ex 3 you can feel the quality of that game. Voice work, visuals, choices etc. - I was amazed! The main character is very likable and the choices he has to make all have consequences. This is the game where "Hurry up, people's lives are at stake" really means something. And for that price - what a bargain! Go buy it!

    Return of a Classic

For anyone who played & loved the original Deus Ex on the PC will have been hoping that this wasn't just the developers chance to pray on the name in a bid to draw people in. Rest assured, it isn't. This is a fantastic return to the choice-shooter with engaging main & sub-plots, where you can go in guns blazing or sneak past everyone, hack into a computer terminal & and turn the turrets on their "masters". Also worth noting I'm 30 hours in and still not finished. 5/5

The game is very beautiful with its dialogues and choices of your answers and various choices of combat. Fantastic game that takes its cue from the movie Blade Runner.

    Deus Ex 3: Human Revolution

Deus Ex 3: Human Revolution gets off to a slow start but quickly becomes high addictive! This is not a typical shooter, ammo is scarce and stealth is often better than confrontation. As you progress through the game and explore the many and varied locations and acquire more and more upgrades, the game gets better and better.

    Deus Ex Machina

Deus Ex 3: Human Revolution's strong points are the conversations, the characters, the slowly increasing hacking skills. Everything adds up to craft an incredible overall experience, in which you'll find yourself immersed during many hours (if you go for the side quests). A must on the shelf of every serious player.

    Superb

Having played the previous Deus Ex games, nothing quite came close to the original, both in terms of style and the originality of the game. I expected Deus Ex 3: Human Revolution to be graphically superior (which of course it is) but low hopes for the story and playing experience. Needless to say I was completely wrong - the game feels like a true sequel to the first Deus Ex, whilst weaving in elements more familiar in games such as Mass Effect. Essentially the game provides a solid cover-based shooter with an MGS style stealth element, all rolled into a story as rich and well thought-out as the Mass Effect games. If that sounds terrible then you'll probably hate this game but I think most gamers will be more than impressed.

A Great sequal for the best game ever. Graphics, sound, story, engine, all epic. Michael A. Canns music is overwhelmingly beautiful and quite stunning. A bit frustrating to play with the gamepad, mainly in boss battles. Felt a bit fingerless most of the time. Would have preferred pc version, but have only a mac for computer and x360 for gaming. Liked a lot that the world in Human Revolution resembles that of the Ghost in the Shell 2 : Innocence. Lots of bright yellow lights everywhere. Would recommend DE3:HR for anybody who liked the first Deus Ex, and anybody who likes Metal Gear Solid games. Yes MGS, this game can be played like a good ol' MGS. In this game you could be the foxiest of hounds...

Great Game - Good Deus Ex

Deus Ex 3 is a really good game! Everything works out pretty well, from the graphics to the gameplay. If you haven't played Deus Ex 1, you'll probably love this one, but if you have, then you'll probably find that this is hardly as good as the first one. But, the game is still totally enjoyable for everyone, and one of the best games of the year.

    Epic

Definitely a must have for 2011. Very Intense atmosphere throughout, deep and thoughtful Plot involvement and story progression. Diverse execution of the FPS Genre with an RPG focus that doesn't detract from the gameplay and instead immersifies you in the role of Adam Jensen. This is very similar to Metal Gear Solid and reminds me of the best Splinter Cell Games but shot in the first person perspective and certainly more fluid to play than its 3rd person brethren. If you've played either of the first 2 Deus Ex Games then you'll have already got this one no doubt and its the perfect way to celebrate the end of the summer games drought! If you haven't then now is the time to start with this game being a prequel to the 2 previous games its the perfect game to get involved in the Deus EX Franchise Amazing.

    Deus Ex Human Revolution

In Deus Ex Human Revolution you take on the role of Adam Jensen, a former SWAT operative and currently employed at Srif Industries as the head of security. After a viscous attack on the company's headquarters in Detroit, Adam's girlfriend Megan Reed and her team of specialists on human augmentation are killed and Adam himself badly injured. In order to survive his life threatening conditions, Adam is augmented with numerous capabilities that will help him in his search to uncover a worldwide conspiracy plot to change humanity and the world. It's a great game that follows on the original style of plot telling in the first Deus Ex, whilst the control and combat system have been modernised to current standards with a brilliant FPS shooter that allows for third person cover around covers. The game can be played with a variety of styles from full on stealth, to gun blazing and all the way to a combination of both. Hacking is in the game and so are important conversations that affect the outcome of certain parts of the depending on the choice taken. Deus Ex Human Revolution is a wonderful addition to the universe of Deus Ex and is a long game that can be played in multiple ways, allowing a lot of replay as well as future DLC.

    ex-ceptional

Like mass effect this game just oozes with quality all the way through. Theirs so many ways to play it and different ways to upgrade, that means the game will be played more than once just to see how you can effect the game and reach a different ending. This game is going to take some beating for game of the year even with the likes of Gears, Battlefield, Forza ect. were in for a great second half of the year.
