Could have been so much better
Well, I would love to give this one 3.5 stars to be honest, but it's closer to 4. It's quite a fun game for 2-3 hours, but not more. I presume that playing it online might prolong its life, but I'm not into arcade racing with my friends. There are things I like though: 1. The variety of cars. There are 140 cars in the game and all of them are licensed. Loved seing my Dodge Charger in the game. 2. The city. It's big and really nice to drive in (thanks to all those jumps and epic sites). 3. Handling. Yes, it's arcade, but drifting is so much fun. 4. Visuals. It's not Forza, of course, but cars are quite detailed, surroundings are nice etc. 5. Speeding in traffic. Taking a car for a spin at more than 300 km/h and trying to hit anyone is fun. I didn't like: 1. Some missions are really hard. You might come to the situation when you finished your mission 0,02 seconds later than needed. 2. AI drivers might become annoying when you need to stop them and you have no special abilities. They turn perfectly and unpredictably using their American cars from 70's and 80's when we all know these cars handle like soap. This is not fair. 3. Similar missions. The game is too repetitive. 4. Artificial car specs. You might be surprized seing Nissan GT-R costing much less than Chevrolet Corvette and having lower top speed and acceleration. I would love to see pretty-much real data. Sure the game is made for the USA as any other game, but here in Europe we know that American cars are not the fastest etc. Considering everything mentioned above - the game is above average and quite fun to play, but not for long. You might enjoy it online though.
