Kinect Sports - Fun

Kinect Sports is an excellent party-game. Since my purchase, I haven't had a party were me and my friends didn't play. There's a nice diversity of sports to choose from (especially the athletics bit can be hilarious). Although the minigames included are somewhat limited. I'd strongly recommend this game for anyone looking for a nice party-game or just to have some fun on your own. Additionally, the service from Zavvi.com was excellent, great prices, honest shipping and handling and a very swift delivery.

Kinect Sports

A great collection of sporting games that people of all ages can play and enjoy. There wasn't an event I didn't like there is also a mini game section that is as fun as the main title games. I've played similar games on the Wii but found the Kinects more fun and easier to play and you’re not holding any controllers so you don't have to worry about the controllers slipping out of your hands. I would recommend this game and the Kinects to anyone (and I have). I really enjoyed the track & field section. The javelin and the discus were a little difficult to start with (getting the throwing angle right mainly). The football was a blast even if I haven't worked out how to tackle yet. Ten pin bowling was probably the easiest game to just jump in and play. All in all as I said a great collection of games for all the family.

Best of Kinect

If you want a game where you can have fun with friends and keep fit, then this is a great addition to add with your Kinect libary. With Kinect Sports you can do so much as it covers a lot of sports including Football, Boxing, Volleyball, Bowling, Table Tennis and a great amount of sub-missions with the inclusion of track and field which is my favourite especially playing with mates. You also level up so the more you play the more challenging it gets and at the price you can get it at now, it is well worth the money!

Kinect Sports is a very fun game, and quite balanced. There are short, fun, mini-games that will give you enough fun for a while, whilst there are also the 5 sports - soccer, bowling, table tennis, volleyball, and athletics. The AI of the game will change it's difficulty in correspondence to your experience, so when your own level advances, you will compete against stronger opponents. The menus aren't always as fast or intuitive as I would like, and sometimes the introductions before the game are a bit long, but you can turn off some of them. Overall, I would recommend this game if you want to play around with Kinect. It's for all ages. I have had this game for a couple of weeks now, and still turn on my Xbox now and then just to play this game.

In my opinion, out of all the games that utilise the Kinect feature, Kinect Sports is the best ever! This game is all that you need to own in relation to the Kinect. It just hits all the right spots, maintaining fun whilst being considered as a good work-out.

We are just Enthused!

We just loved this game. Useful for Fitness purposes, to have some good laughs, to play over the internet.. all in all it is one of the best titles for the kinect so far. Plenty of nice ideas and different ways of proposing them, it's brilliant to say the least.. and when the CPU is easily beaten, connect your console to the internet and look for real powerful opponents! The game has just started. Highly, highly recommended!

Fantastic example of Kinect technology

Kinect Sports really makes the Kinect shine. The games are really enjoyable and if you really go for it can seriously burn the calories too. Motion tracking is first class and each sport sees your X-box avatar dressed accordingly. A great little bonus occurs every time you do something cool in each sport like score in football, get a smash is table tennis or a strike in 10 pin bowling - you get blasted with a few seconds of original music from some classic up-tempo, kicking rock or pop anthem. If you think you've played these same games on the Wii and so have skipped Kinect Sports then believe me you haven't played these games yet. I have both and Kinect Sports surpasses in all areas. If nothing else you get to conduct an entire stadium full of adoring fans simply by pointing at them or holding both hands above your head. This game alone is worth buying a kinect for...
