Prompted by the success of the original Scratch Map, we got together with the creative heads at Luckies of London to create a new travel edition version. The miniature map is still as cool as its predecessor but cuter in every way. It makes the best present for any globetrotter as the map (in its sturdy tube) fits into your rucksack without taking up too much valuable room.
This is a unique world map that you can personalise based on the countries you have visited. Now you have the choice to choose between a handy travel size version, or the original larger version.
For those of you new to the Scratch Map, it is a map that you scratch off the countries you have visited to reveal gorgeous geographical detail underneath. It is a good way to show how well-travelled you are and a great way to remind you of oversees experiences. An ideal gift for the backpackers and globetrotters among you.
The top layer of the map is made of gold foil for easy scratching. Rub it with the edge of a coin, scratch-card style, to reveal the colourful detail underneath. The Travel Edition Scratch Map is really cool. It's easy to scratch and nicely done!
Great gift
This Travel Edition Scratch Map is a great idea as a cool gift, especially for the forgetful traveler who likes to remember (or show) where he's been. Only one thing could make it better, some kind of "scratching pen" that had a precise tip, since some of the countries are small, or you only want to clear a little part of it (as in the canary islands, don't want to scratch them all if you've only been to one). But it's still well worthy of a 4 star rating.

The Exclusive Travel Edition Scratch Map is great as a gift, particularly for someone who does a lot of travelling (or wants to). Keeps inspiring you to go to new places and I've also found it useful as a way of thinking of ideas of where to go next.
Handy and Funky
The Exclusive Travel Edition Scratch Map is a nice little card to show you where you've been. Its also quite good at motivating you to keep travelling to new places which is nice. It is also a nice talking piece when people come round you can chat about the places you've been to and people get the chance to bring up any shared countries and shared experiences you may have.
Great Preasent
I found this awesome map on the gift section of Zavvi and immediately felt it was the perfect gift for my brother. He travels a lot, and sometimes its hard to keep track of all the places he has been. The map is not very big, its the size of an A3 sheet (297 × 420mm) and it comes in a nice tube and a tag for the recipe name. You can scratch any part of the map that is land. The colours, are like shown in the picture, a dark blue that after been scratched revels others bright colours. My brothers loved his gift!! I felt it was a wonderful present =)
Travel map review
Was bought for daughter in law who has just returned from travelling an wanted to document the journey. She loved it and will use it to remember their once in a lifetime trip. Would recommend as a unique gift to any travellers you know.
