LEGO Star Wars: Darth Vader Desk Lamp

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

The LEGO Star Wars: Darth Vader Desk Lamp isn't the strongest one out there, nor does it shine the biggest surface area, but it is a Darth Vader lamp, and it just looks gorgeous on my table. The lamp has all the points of articulation you'd find on a standard light, you just can't remove its legs and arms. The head, helmet and cape are removable, though, and the figure itself can be detached from the base. It has two modes, which are selectable by the switch on the figure's back. You can press the button and have the light stay on, or have it shut off when you release it, sort of like a flashlight. The desk lamp has two intensities, which are selectable by pressing the on/off button. It uses a USB cable to power itself, but it's somewhat short for my needs, so I had to buy the longer version of it. Alternatively, you can use 3 AAA batteries to power it. It uses LEDs, so it's really energy efficient. Overall, it's very good quality and is a sturdy product for the price.
