Must get if you want the full expeience
Destiny taken king adds a lot of new in depth story telling. It really brings the game to life. If you do not buy this expansion the game isn't worth getting. The start of the game is kind of forgotten in the new DLC (even though it was probably the most fun i have ever had on a game going through the first missions with my friends). This is a good game and is great to play through the missions, however after all the missions are completed it becomes a bit of a grind to get all the best gear and achieve the highest light level possible. That is why it is 4 star not 5 star.

I had destiny at launch and sold it due to lack of content but reviews of taken king peaked my interest.... with the new taken king and the other older expansions it is now the game we wanted it to be with much more to do and as such less grind

Lots of fun but have friends to play with for the full experience.
Bought this from Zavvi in the UK and cannot knock the service. Got the game on the first day of expected delivery time window in perfect condition with everything as advertised. I have played the game for about a week now and I'm still having fun with it. I sometimes play on my own for a few hours at a time to increase my character level and defence and attack stats however the best way to play is with two friends for the three player story missions and strikes (more challenging three player missions with ending boss). There are also raids that are six player missions that are very challenging and require communication so more people are required to get the full experience. With the new updates Bungie have added in with the third expansion (The Taken King) it has greatly improved the overall experience. Overall, this is a very fun game to play and grind out if you're a perfectionist and want a cool looking character; a definite buy four a very reasonable price.
